My Philosophy

Like French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, I believe we are spiritual beings having a human experience. The body is the vehicle with which we get to soak up all that life has to offer, and I believe it is an amazing privilege to be connected to this body, at this time, in this space, and to be able to share experiences with others.

For me, this paradigm is intimately woven into my devotion to the scientific process. I am constantly conducting my own experiments to see what's possible and who I am capable of becoming. This is the foundation upon which I have grown my work.

The depth and joy of life and the body continue to fuel my curiosity and my enthusiasm for learning. They present me with challenges, and they also open up amazing possibilities and bliss. I look forward to connecting you with the brilliant power and magic that life has to offer.

My Background

I have always been insatiably curious; my father's greatest joy was constantly hearing "What's that?" when I was small, and I can't say much has changed.

My body experience comes from a lifetime of movement; sports, hiking, dance, weight lifting, swimming, rock climbing, yoga, Pilates, circus arts, Tai Chi and lately mobility training have all given me opportunities to learn the body's language of sensation, from the very nuanced flow of energy to the fallout of orthopedic injury.

I've engaged with healing arts for my entire adult life as well, including meditation, Reiki, acupuncture, physical therapy, Rolfing, massage therapy, chiropractic work, craniosacral therapy, breathwork, sound healing, and more. These experiences have increased my capacity to communicate with clients as we work together to find avenues for listening to how their body speaks to them.

And now I connect my experience with my services. Whether on the massage table or in a coaching session, clients are always encouraged to explore, name, and listen to sensation in their own body. We learn how to discern the messages and especially trust that the body is an authority to be relied upon as a guide on life's journey.
